CADIS brings Easter joy to families in the South West

We were delighted to see one of our Captain of Industry partners, CADIS, host a brilliant Easter event for some of our families in the South West.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Antony Woodland Gardens in Cornwall, the day brought families together for an Easter Egg Hunt and a chance to simply enjoy time together. While not everyone could make it, those who did had a truly special day. One mum shared that it felt “like having a holiday,” which really says it all about how important these moments are.

Tanya Perry from CADIS said “At CADIS, we are incredibly proud of our ongoing partnership with the Sailors’ Children’s Society, and it was a pleasure to organise this year’s Easter Egg Event for the families we support across the South West. With the generous help of Alison Taylor at Antony Woodland Gardens in Torpoint, Cornwall, we were able to host the day in the stunning grounds, creating a truly special setting for everyone who attended.

Every child left with an Easter egg and a goodie bag full of treats and in the end, we made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy. Seeing the children and their families having such a wonderful time meant a great deal to us, and we remain committed to supporting the Sailors’ Children’s Society and the vital work they do.

A huge thank you to the amazing CADIS team, Tanya, Jane, Ben, Gina and Debbie for making the day so welcoming and special. We’d also like to thank Alison and the team at Antony House for their support behind the scenes and for helping create such a fantastic setting for the day.

We’d also like to extend a thank you to Global Home Warranties, who supported our families in Northern Ireland by helping to provide Easter eggs to children on our scheme—ensuring the same moments of joy were shared across the UK.

Lee Pearson, Partnerships Manager at Sailors’ Children’s Society, said:
“Days like this mean so much to the families we support. It’s a chance to take a step away from the challenges they’re facing and just enjoy being together. We’re so grateful to CADIS for the care and thought they put into making it such a special day.”

The feedback has been incredibly positive, and it’s clear the children had a fantastic time, which is exactly what it’s all about.
