Deanne joined the Society in 2006 having previously worked as a Finance Director in the food industry. She was promoted to the Chief Executive Officer in 2008. As a working mum, she can understand the families’ feelings in times of need whilst sharing in the joy when children are happy and achieving in life.

Michelle has worked for the Society since September 2013. She has previously worked for the NSPCC as an Family and Children Practioner. Her role is to provide emotional and practical support to our families by helping to encourage them to overcome their issues they may have initially when joining our scheme.

Louise joined the Society in July 2015. Her role enables her to provide emotional and practical support to families helping parents build better lives for their children.

Wendy has been with the Society for over 30 years and has a wide knowledge and experience with organising fundraising events. As well as generating income from these events and from appeals and donations, she also applies to various Trusts and continues to research other organisations that meet our criteria. She also deals with the administration of the fundraising department.

Claire has been with the Society for over 30 years. She is the first point of contact with the caravan holidays ensuring all the families make their holiday a very memorable one. As well as the Caravan Holiday Scheme, she also deals with the administrative side of the Society including generating income from Trusts, the 200 Business Club, website updates and all aspects of finance through the SAGE accounts system.

Liz has worked for the Society since June 2016. She has previously worked as a Bereavement Advisor and a Helping Hands person for the Halifax bank. She supports our families (with surnames from A-M) by providing financial assistance as well as practical and emotional support and liaises with their caseworkers from organisations such as SSAFA, Merchant Navy Welfare Board and the Royal British Legion.

Helen started working for the Society in April 2020. In her previous role as an Insurance Claims handler she regularly assisted clients in times of need following incidents such as accidents, illness, severe storms etc. She worked for an Insurance broker so it was her job to get the best possible outcome from the Insurance company for the client. She supports our families (with surnames from N-Z) by providing financial assistance as well as practical and emotional support and liaises with their caseworkers from organisations such as SSAFA, Merchant Navy Welfare Board and the Royal British Legion.
